This is the first year of a two year process to join Boy Scouts. Boys in this den are in the fourth grade. The boys in plaid hats and scarves are learning the differences between Cub Scouts and Boys Scouts. The boys can choose to continue to wear the traditional blue shirts of Cub Scouts or wear the tan shirts of the Boys Scouts. Over the next two years, they will start their path to earn not only the Webelos badge, but the Arrow Of Light, the highest award in Cub Scouting. To do so, they must complete 8 different activity pins over a two year period. These activities are vast in nature and provide a wide variety of experiences and challenges for the boys to accomplish.
